Considering the Past I'm Optimistic About the Gaming Future

So I have never really been to sure about where gaming is headed. Years back I had an idea and then that never came to be true, and then I had more ideas and they never came true. But one thing is really consistent there is always major changes, and unforeseen consequences to many of these.The internet was something I used to covet and considered all the great things that would come from it in gaming, but now days I kind of lament the internet play in a lot of ways and miss the old fashion multiplayer with friends on a couch.
