Something that dawned on me the other days was that all the greatest games I ever played back in my heyday were really unique for their time, one of a kinds you might say. Games are a crazy combination of technology and art. And so to a large extent you have to judge a game based on its time, its all relative. The greatest games I played were all amazing for their time and hold up really well as time goes on. I hope more games in the future try to push the art form forward as there has been a bad stagnant period lately.
